LakeSide Warriors is a "Local Global War on Terror" Veteran Service Group at the Lake of the Ozarks. Al Whitaker VFW Post 6514 has partnered with this important local group to help support our local Gulf War Veterans and also to help provide a memorial to those who have served since the 1983 Beirut Marine Barracks Attack to Present. 
 
LakeSide Warriors is working to bring the "Global War on Terrorism Traveling Wall" to our very own local Hy-Vee parking lot, it will be escorted from the Dam in Lake Ozark to the Hy-Vee location. It will be here for the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 on Friday Sept 11-13 2026 on display for 24 hours a day.
